remembering my mother with one of our traditions

wow friends surprising me today with visits and cookies ( as well as a neighbor) makes the past few weeks seem a little less lonely going into tomorrow and thursday

well i received my mother’s ashes. they are downstairs in a cabinet. so that was an experience. in other news my blood pressure has been back to normal with some iron rich food and watching what i eat. still seeing the naturopath doctor on tuesday.

i will be turning off my phone at night for the first time in four months. not sure if it a milestone or sadness to mark that.

My mother passed away a little while ago. Not looking for comments. Just letting friends know. I will be away for awhile.

So what do I do with the photo of my mother on my phone that I took on Thanksgiving, her last day of happiness and optimism? Sigh. Can’t really look at it right now. Maybe one day next year.

Matter of days left. Resigned and alright with it until the day it happens.

when my mother does pass away and i deal with all the funeral home issues and will issues and all of it, i think i shall retreat from the world for a week
