Getting Oklahoma back on track means investing in our public schools, lowering costs for working families, and putting people ahead of politics. That is the work I have done in the legislature, and it is the work I will continue as Governor.

Oklahomans are struggling with the rising cost of groceries. I introduced two commonsense bills to stop corporations from using algorithms to charge people different prices and to protect workers in our grocery stores. Republicans killed both bills in committee.

Oklahoma, I hear you. You're tired of radical, self-serving politicians who forget they work for you. This campaign is about putting power back where it belongs.

People ask me all the time, “Can a Democrat win in Oklahoma?” The answer is YES. Because Oklahoma is not a red state, it’s a gerrymandered state.

I had the opportunity to sit down with Governor Andy Beshear (KY) to talk about what it really takes to win as a Democrat in a tough state.

It’s always good to sit down with the Oklahomans who built this state — retirees, small business owners, grandparents. Folks who worked hard, paid in, and deserve a government that works just as hard for them.

There’s nothing more Oklahoma than a chili cook off and a room full of neighbors who care about their community. 🌶️ We had a great time at the Shawnee Dems Tri-County Chili Cook Off with folks from Lincoln, Seminole, and Pottawatomie counties.

This governor’s race is about who actually listens. For too long, the people running our state have talked at Oklahomans instead of with them. I’m running for Governor to change that. I’m doing something that our current leadership hasn’t: listening.

As families across Oklahoma begin observing Ramadan, I want to wish you a month filled with reflection, peace, and good health. The freedom to practice your faith openly and without fear is a fundamental right. In Oklahoma, that freedom must be protected for everyone.

Oklahoma is facing tough days, and our communities are showing their strength. Grateful for the firefighters and first responders protecting lives and property across western Oklahoma and the panhandle. Stay safe, follow local guidance, and look out for one another.

McAlester reminded me why this work matters. Not the noise or the politics, but the people. 💚 Real conversations with families, workers, small business owners, and neighbors across Oklahoma about everyday life, real challenges, and what their communities truly need.

In Haworth, we spent time with the folks at the Hand to Hand food pantry. 💚 These women are filling the gaps where systems have failed, making sure seniors and families in their community don’t go without food, dignity, or care.

Data centers for AI and tech companies are popping up all over Oklahoma, stretching our power grid and water supplies. Ultimately this increases utility rates and hits everyday families the hardest. We cannot let big companies move into our state to exploit our natural resources and our people.

On the doors, I'm hearing the same thing everywhere: families are stretched thin. Groceries cost more. Housing costs more. Healthcare and childcare cost more. And I understand it - I've been the person standing in a grocery aisle deciding which items to put back so the essentials fit the budget.

Grateful to join the YWCA Women Who Care, Share luncheon last week. YWCA OKC is a lifeline for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking — providing emergency support, safety, and hope when it’s needed most. Honored to stand with them.

Young people are leading the way, and their energy never fails to inspire me. The Tulsa Young Dems Talent Show reminded me that organizing is not just about politics. It is about building community, creating connection, and making space for joy. Let’s keep that momentum going.

Their work to support the economic growth of Oklahoma’s Asian community is vital — & as the first Asian American woman elected to the Legislature, I’m proud to celebrate our shared success.

A huge thank you to the Payne County Democrats for hosting such an incredible event. We heard from passionate Democratic candidates from every corner of Oklahoma — all ready to fight for working families, public education, and a brighter future for our state.

Thank you to every Oklahoman who made phone calls, sent emails, and fought for justice for Tremane and his family. Your work mattered and it shows that people have power to create change in our state.

On November 5, the Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board voted 3-2 to grant clemency for Tremane Wood—who is wrongfully serving time on death row for a murder he did not commit. Now, his life is in the hands of the Governor.
