I've been on this for weeks/months, but you can't say enough about how/where "The Pitt" left viewers in the finale. Too often, writers feel the need to use finales to Make Huge Revelations or Seed Mythology for Season 2. But "The Pitt" made us want more by being perfectly and wholly resolved.

I didn't predict Jeff Hiller would win, but on that THR #Emmys pre-show, I talked for a couple minutes about what a spectacular job he did of playing the game. He did interviews with ANYBODY and was charming and gracious and funny in ALL of them. He's a template. [And he's great.]

Simply put: If Harrison Ford wins an Emmy and they start suggesting his emotion at winning an acting award at 80-something is costing the Boys & Girls Club money, everybody involved in this telecast should get fired mid-show. #Emmys

Now would be a good time for the #Emmys producers to check social media to see how the Boys & Girls Club thing is playing. Lots of show left to... not do this.

A. Hannah Einbinder is a WILDLY deserving #Emmys winner. B. Hannah Einbinder is 100% and totally a lead in "Hacks."

Nate Bargatze's awkwardness — beyond his normal, trademarked awkwardness — makes more sense if you remember that this is the smallest audience he's played to since the last time he hosted "SNL." #Emmys

I can't emphasize how little that trailer for "Black Rabbit" had to do with "Black Rabbit."
