Great first day at the @aeamp American Economic Association Mentoring conference with great talks on research, professional development, and teaching.

I do not have any insights to the election, except that CA voted blue and (most likely) rejected a minimum wage increase. MO voted red and approved a min wage increase. There are differences in wage levels, but those are attenuated by cost of living. FWIW, policies and politicians are different.
