I left 2025 behind in an abandoned warehouse, walking away from the tetanus laden dilapidated structure through the woods back to my car with ears ringing and a sense of satisfaction having danced and socialized all fucking night until the stark sunlight streamed in through broken windows. Goddamn.

Haven't partied that hard in years.

Waiting by the phone and calling a prerecorded number for an address. The number hasn't updated their message. Slightly annoying.

I have to say, this year for all its difficulties and trials has been a good one for me. I've done well for myself and have pushed myself not only to get a book out, but to keep same in nursing school, focus on dancing and parties, and serving the Pup Title for Michigan well as i could.

Spent a night in last night watching Herzog's Fitzcarraldo. I couldn't honestly get past the movie as a piece of absolutely ridiculous performance art. For as interesting as the story itself is, the -wild- part is what went into making such an absurd movie. Recommended, but goddamn.

Went to a jazz show last night. I have a somewhat complicated relationship with the blues. My mother was a blues singer and hearing some of the old favorites made me think of her. She hasn't picked up her guitar in years. This music makes me remember sitting in smoky bars as a kid watching her.
