The impact of #fallowdeer on our reserves is evident. In Feb, Claire Foster, from ANU Fenner School, assessed vege & soil at Five Rivers Reserve long-term exclosure plots to understand how herbivores affect these #ecosystems & how controlling deer may assist veg recovery.

Recently, a #WildTracker fauna camera on one of our #MidlandsConservationPartnership properties helped unravel an unexpected mystery. When retrieving survey cameras, our #ecologist noticed one had been removed from its star picket — no easy feat given the secure strap and knot used.
