Hooooo boy yes. Five years before present day, Uni was forced to kill the closest thing he had to a friend. Before that he wasn't exactly cheery, but he at least had a sort of spirit to him. At this point, he basically moves forward out of necessity. Certain people need him alive, so he lives.

Oh often, yes. Between having an unwilling Voidsent housed inside and involuntary violence day after day... Yeeeaaaah shit's rough. What helps him recover....? He uhh...just sort of accepts it as a fact of life and just kinda tries to brush past it or "suck it up"

Ahh, yes! I do have a process. Being that I've had Uni for years now, I've slowly built things out with each exchange. I originally started with a personality, and worked to flesh that out first: What is his general temperament? How does he regard strangers? Acquaintances? Close friends?

"I don't think there is true good and evil. I think there are people who can do good or bad things. I think they have to meet in the middle somewhere, isn't that the nature of humanity?" (Wanted to put something out before I begin my trip tomorrow)

Uni is way too much of a hard-ass. He never bothers with that sort of thing, and wants nothing to do with it. That being said, he has a couple friends who will absolutely plan to prank him with something. He will tolerate it because they miraculously got in his good graces, but the deadpan stare...
