Happy Holidays. I‘m not really a festive person and I‘m sorry If i don‘t go around DMing people with it. Stream will happen sometime between xmas eve and new years eve. Will announce the time when I got my setup rdy for it.

Might stream on Tuesday/Wednesday. Needed the week to focus on other things and also heal from some stuff that went down in my private life.

I am running into technical difficulties right now that make it kinda stressful to stream today, so I need to postpone it until I have it figured out. Will let you know once I can set a date 👍 More time to send sound submissions if you want to submit one!

If you use gen AI in your art/music, you should also deal with the consequences of mistrust in your fans for anything you do going forward, even IF you go back to not using it. Even if someone like Kevin MacLeod claims to not use gen AI going forward, I won‘t believe it.

Concerning music production, I worry there’s already this subconscious instance in me that goes: „could gen AI do this? does this have human brain unpredictability? How far do I have to bend my personal acquired sense of aestheticism to make things sound less ai replicable?“

tmw musicians you enjoy start using gen AI for their music videos, even if you know their music was always handmade…And then you start wondering how much gen AI went into the song creation and production itself, when they can already embrace gen AI for visual representation.

Now that gen ai has reached a point of being beyond wonky and mostly indistinguishable from real art/photography: FUCK GEN AI
