So, obviously the whole Itchio / Visa / Mastercard thing is very bad, and I see a lot of calling campaigns kicking off, so I tried to put together a list of things that can move the needle at a call center. Do with this info what you will.

Every time trans people ask "do you think they'll stop at this?" you need to immediately take it seriously. Remember when they said evangelicals and terfs won't stop at trans athletes? all queer people were on the chopping block, they just started with the easiest target.

So, WFM guy here, I crunch call center numbers all day and advise management on performance and staffing requirements. Here are some concrete goals to keep in mind with any sort of calling campaign: 🧵

“Please send us emails instead” means “we can put key words from your script on our corporate spam filter and ignore you, but calls shut down our entire contact infrastructure” Keep fucking calling.

When you talk to/about these processors censoring 18+ content could you also mention patreon? Creators are walking on eggshells since they came for it a while back and although it's not new news, its a good reference for what will happen to these other sites and we want creative freedom back too
