Yeah, so this is the Switch 2's biggest problem. You need a lot of storage space, even if you have physical since most games are on key cards, and express cards are still a bit pricey. Hopefully that comes down over time, but for now Black Friday sales might be the only viable option.

I just finished Yakuza Kiwami 2 for the second time and this series makes me happier than any other game I can think of. Every time I play there's a new sub story that makes me smile, a Sega arcade game, or something else that just makes me happy. This might be my favorite game series of all time.

Sega probably ported Yakuza Kiwami 1 & 2 to Switch 2 because of the upcoming remake of 3, but I also can't help but wonder if they will port more game to it. I think 6 and Kiwami 2 use the same engine, so maybe there are some titles that can be easily ported. I just want more portable Yakuza!

I really like Painkiller Black and HD, but this doesn't look like fun. To me it looks like they took a random squad based game, gave it the guns from Painkiller and some of the look, but none of the Zakk Wylde-ish guitar soundtrack or interesting enemies. Maybe this is a future What Happened?

I pre-ordered and pre-loaded the Yakuza Kiwami 2 on Switch 2 and was shocked and delighted to see that it's apparently ready to play!

Lol, now that I've finished it, they addressed every issue that bothered me about the game. Faster stamina replacement and less repetitive enemy encounters alone make me want to play a NG+.

Tonight I'm just chilling and playing the Android port of SOTN. Good times.

My first experience with SSX Tricky was on GBA as one of my first GBA games. I just got a GBA and didn't know what it could or couldn't do. The screenshots on the box looked amazing, but in reality it plays pretty sluggish especially compared to PS2. I still have a soft spot for SSX on GBA.

Nothing against the Switch 2, but the library needs to grow a bit more to make it worth it. Other than DK Bonanza, and Mario Kart World, every other game I'm interested in is already available on another system. I'm sure it will have some unique bangers by this time next year though.

This year has been incredible in terms of the games released. Some of my 2025 favorites were Yakuza: Pirates, Blue Prince, and Expedition 33. We also got nice remasters of Lunar 1&2, Final Fantasy Tactics, and bunch of others. Oh, and the Switch 2.

I'm back on Lunar 2 tonight after putting it on hold. One of the dungeons is a slog with a boss that steals MP at the end. This isn't the first run I've put on hold because of it. At least with the remastered collection, battles can be sped up, and I just cleared that part, but it's grindy.
