I was so excited last night to receive two awards from my peers at the Athens Photography Guild during the annual print competition for this portrait of my friend @mariaposa-muse.bsky.social Best Portrait and Best in Show. We made this photograph a few weeks ago in my studio by window light.

They Only Come Out When The Sun Goes Down A rare sighting at Machen Estate recently when the sun went down and there was a damp chill in the air. Electronics no longer functioned so I got this shot with an old Nikon film camera, and Fomapan film from the Czech Republic.

My latest cyanotype. I am kind of proud of it. The art features my gorgeous and dear friend. I have been wanting to incorporate the feeling I got of some of the early 20th century photographic mounts my grandparents had. My version combines very old and very new techniques.
