Sharing OCs takes courage, I think. Like, hey here’s this lil guy I made in my head - why should anyone care when the world is already full of characters like Batman, Mario, etc? But at the same time, you do it coz at least to you, your blorbo is just as impressive (or more) than Batman et al.

I’ll be honest, haven’t been feeling good lately. Kinda depressed, really, and it hasn’t gotten much better. I usually post art more than my thoughts, but I have been losing my driving to make those too.

I feel I hit skill ceilings often to the point where more practice isn’t enough and I’d have to try something new/different but I don’t know what sometimes. Hardly anyone addresses that heh, it’s very often “practice, practice!” Lately I found more art methods to try (Yeah, I tend to ramble 😅)

As much as I don’t do anything (or have much reason to) with my deviantart account anymore, still good to be able to look back on it occasionally as it was a big part of my life. Memories and all that. Looking back, I just miss the friends I made there and plenty of other great artists.
