Sudden change of weekend plans...I'm off to LA to see Bruce Dickinson and the House Band of Hell at The Wiltern for their final show of the North American tour!!

Definitely had to pinch myself last night...I got to photograph my number one artist of all time. I've been a fan of Bruce Dickinson longer than I've been a fan of Iron Maiden. I've waited over 20 years to see this man tour his solo material, and he was finally in my hometown last night.

Things may be spicy politically, but...I still get nostalgic whenever I see/hear the Thunderbirds. Reminds me of getting off shift at the Nellis AFB hospital at 0600 and trying to sleep through their practice runs each morning.

Had a great day hiking up near Leadville yesterday! Trying my hand at some landscape photography. Still learning what works for editing and composition, but I like the cinematic edits with grand sweeping views.

I told my roommate that I wanted to race The Rift in Iceland in 2026...so naturally she's standing at the door with her bags packed and ready to go. Doesn't take a lot of arm twisting to convince us to go there. Took this back in 2022 when we visited on our way to Cardiff.

Hey, Neuroimaging friends: I am getting laid off soon due to the cuts to NIH. I have filled out applications far and wide to no avail. Does anyone have any leads on a lab that might be able to use someone with a strong background in neuroimaging data analytics?
