You ain't slick @seananmcguire.bsky.social 👀, how absolutely diabolically cool of you. After the conclusion of the #MTGLorwyn story it seems the cool merfolk in the promo art for Omens of Chaos is Alandra, likely the daughter of iconic bulk rare Talrand, Sky Summoner! Kudos, such a cool pull!

Just finished the #MTGLorwyn story by @seananmcguire.bsky.social! It certainly has left me looking forward to what comes next come Strixhaven (pre-order Omens of Chaos y'all) but I do feel like that story could have really benefited from a few more chapters of breath room.

Just caught up to the #MTGLorwyn story, right in time for the final chapter tommorow. Wish I could have caught up a day sooner so I could have called the Oko reveal before it happened though. I feel like he was explicitly intended not to be from Lorwyn when first introduced.

Wild that Grist was first printed like over 4 years ago and we still haven't seen them in any #MTGStory since. I mean we've had ample opportunity, insects are the new elves, they've been everywhere in recent years!

I liked the Planeswalker's Guide to Lorwyn Eclipsed. Not revolutionary by Planeswalker's Guide standards but a good reintroduction to the plane nonetheless, great work to those who worked on it. Really looking forward to the full set and hoping the story gets some room to breath.

Well #MTGEterntities main story by Seth Dickinson has blown almost most every positive experience this franchise has given me of late out of the water. absolutely euphoric, I may have have never read better MTG web-fiction, though I'll have to think about it more. where to even begin?

I like how Seth Dickinson decided to hard detour from the main #MTGEternities story for two episodes to write the most fire piece of fiction that Magic the Gathering has seen this decade.

Of all the sets we have been getting as of late I have to say I am shocked that #MTGEternities time and time again proves itself to feel like the one with a deep love of Magic the Gathering the most at its core. It almost feels like Foundations, or a Horizon set even. Thanks #WotCStaff!

#MTGEternities so far has surprised me. I already had a hunch the set might be good but if tyat's all I had to say about it I'd be underselling it. I've rather enjoyed how much it has dipped its toes into vast and terrifying mysteries. There is present a suprising yet welcome darkness.

I'm thrilled at just how many mysteries lie within #MTGEternities, more I presume than this visit has the capacity to answer, the set isn't even out yet and it demands of me to demand a return. Just finished "The Doors of Uthros" by @anamariacurtis.bsky.social. Brilliant and unsettling!

Jeepers creepers this rules! I don't usually post about main story until I'm done but Episode 2 of #MTGEternities has me completely fascinated! This setting and this story both drip with love and care beyond any other recent set. I can only hope that Lorwyn: Eclipsed gets this same treatment.

As an avid fan of cards getting Universes Within treatments, "Through the Omenpaths" feels like a real monkey's paw of an idea. Selfishly, I wouldn't mind as much if it was a paper set. Sure it would still be confusing, but I've spent months mourning the three #MTG sets I'll be skipping this year.

I'm digging today's #mtgcommander news. I suppose its time to dredge Gifts Ungiven from the depths of my collection and into the third Game Changer slot of my Kumena deck.

#MTGTarkir's main story by Cassandra Khaw is probably the best I've read since Murders at Karlov Manor. I love the characterization of Narset especially, her strange and unresolved feelings towards her once dragonlord, Ojutai, are very compelling. Definitely a new standard for her characterization.

Sultai: Betrayal and Temur: Together Survives the Pack excellently address the cultural revolutions/conflicts inherit in the post-Dragonlord clans, though a part of me still yearns for a proper tribute/sendoff to the clans of the alternate timeline. It's spirits seem not at rest to me. #MTGTarkir

I'm not caught up on the main story of #MTGTarkir, but these one-shots have been very satisfying. The spirit of the setting and the reformed clans really come through. For context, I just finished @seananmcguire.bsky.social's Mardu: Where Lightning Tells Our Story. Would definitely recommend it!

The Planeswalker's Guide didn't have me fully convinced but what I have read thus far of the #MTGTarkir story has been wonderful! Today I'd like to highlight Abzan: Siege Blossoms by @charibdys.bsky.social, an incredible read by an author I hope to see grace the Multiverse again in the future!

I think more businesses should take after Five Guys. I'm gonna rename my game studio to "Roughly Ten People".

Everyone is taking about Stormscale Scion bringing Storm into standard like this guy wasn't printed less than a year ago.

As a Vorthos I can only imagine what story the #MTGMovie will tell. But I hope that this can serve to reinvigerate interest in this diverse and sprawling multiverse.

This card to my understanding is a reference to the arena of Valor's Reach from the plane, Kylem. The entire Cloudspire racing team in fact (although it doesn't quite look it) is allegedly from Kylem. I wonder what this dramatic Tron-esque aesthetic means for the plane itself if we were to return.
