It's unfortunate that the President of the United States has created an environment permissive of political violence and I think we should all call on him to work to repair the damage he's done. Perhaps if he had, Charlie Kirk would be alive.

I don’t mourn Charlie Kirk much, though I do feel empathy for those who cared for him. But I am grievously concerned for what is going to happen to this country next, because political violence never rests easy on the marginalized.
