Tatjana Wood, alongside being the wife of the legendary Wally Wood, did magnificent work on Alan Moore, John Totleben, and Steve Bissette's seminal Swamp Thing run. Though she was long in years, I am nonetheless saddened to hear of her passing. RIP.

I just finished my re-read of CS Lewis’ The Great Divorce, not quite as impactful from when I first read it. But there are still some interesting thoughts about heaven, hell, and humanity’s inability to get out of its own way. Some food for thought.

Today is the birthday of artist Frank Frazetta (Feb. 9, 1928-May 10, 2010).

There are some books that grab you by the heart and never let you go. Blankets is one of those books. A deeply moving love story and an exploration of growing up, faith, and the aching uncertainty that comes from it all. Read it as soon as possible.
