Many teachers are living paycheck to paycheck. Meanwhile management has over $60 million in reserve accounts, spent nearly $13 million on consultants last year, claims they can't afford a 6% raise that would cost only $3.7 million, and is now worried about fiscal instability. We don't believe it.

Today management sent a letter to the Oak Grove community claiming they might be headed toward fiscal insolvency. We disagree. Management currently has nearly half the district's annual revenue stashed away in savings accounts. There is no imminent emergency.
