Ah. We doing the Halo CE Remake dance Again. Loved Halo, was probably very formative of my gaming preferences and tastes in sci fi but boy was I not really feeling like playing the same game again with (an admittedly very fancy) new coat of paint. Even so some criticisms of the changes are bonkers

Just some general musings on character writing but I think my favorite type of power fantasy OP character is the kind that even though they always win they still get the shit kicked out of them. John Wick probably sticks out the most to me. They just keep getting back up!

Got a lot to say about the Netflix Devil May Cry now that I’ve given it some time. Most of it overwhelmingly positive. I’m hopeful that by the time season 2 rolls around the vibe starts to head in the direction I was initially expecting. I’ll probably muse more about it randomly every now and then

I don’t dislike One Piece, I sort of feel like I missed the boat on that and definitely haven’t gone out of my way to try and catch up BUT that Fan Letter episode is definitely one of the best things I’ve seen. And I was missing some narrative context too that I’m sure fans would have gone wildover

I feel like I really heavily lean towards the noble background when making characters for myself. Their motivations and situations certainly differ but I guess I just like having an excuse to always have a set of fancy clothes

There SHOULD be a Dungeon Meshi and Monster Hunter collab. Senshi just shows up and starts cooking and the quests center around hunting the monster parts for his meals.
