OTD 69 years ago, we left South Hampton, England aboard USNS Upshur bound for America to meet my grandparents. I was three & had two younger sisters. Dad was Air Force. It took eight days to cross the Atlantic. Dad held me up to the porthole to watch the dolphins follow us to the dock. ❤️
