Book #4 read in 2026, Carl's Doomsday Scenario. While I didn't like it nearly as much as the first book, it was still a lot of fun to read. I'll be moving on to The 3rd book pretty soon!

Finally watching Sinners. So much of it reminds me of South of Midnight. Really good so far!

Game #10 completed in 2025, Yooka-Replaylee. I've owned the original game for forever, but never got around to it. I'm a huge Banjo fan, so I had to check it out. While it wasn't near that level for me, I still had fun with it. Also got the platinum! That's #19 overall.

Finally started The Messenger tonight for Game Club (already played Mafia). I don't have a lot of experience with 2D platformers, so I was a bit intimidated going in. It reminds me a lot of Shinobi III that we played last year and I loved. So far so good! 😊

Decided it was time to use the gift cards I got for Christmas. I've been saving them up just in case. Went with Reanimal and Pokopia (physical copies). Pretty hyped.

Made the decision today to not pursue streaming anymore. I started Twitch almost a year ago and it was fun, but it's too difficult to find the time and energy for it. Plus, I have a really hard time focusing on chat and the game at the same time. Focusing on Game Club, YT, etc.

I was really hoping for some sort of collection of older games or even a 2.5D remake/remaster, but I do think the starters look cute! I just hope they have better evolutions than Scarlet/Violet. The world actually looks interesting, too! Fingers crossed.

Game #9 completed in 2026, Grand Theft Auto V. I've owned this game across multiple consoles since its release. Always got about halfway, but never rolled credits until today. I still stand by GTA IV being a better game in many ways, but I still enjoyed this.
