Watched a video of a woman wrapping all her electrical cords with these snazzy little leather bracelets. Well hell, I just let my cords run free.

I love the times when I reach that point where I can breathe well. A layered level of energy with self-imposed freedom of solitude. Where the free fairies dance under the Willow Tree and the Unicorn Herd believes in having another day.

Pumpkin and pecan tarts for all the staff since they worked so hard for the meeting tomorrow. The ones who vacuumed were given extras.

Another book sent to the Foundation. Staff agreed to move quickly onto the next one. Time is passing into Autumn and Winter is Coming and these rocks are not going to move themselves without The Force.

English ancestor born 1302 had two wives, both his half-sisters. They all had the same mother with different fathers. Genealogy is so fascinating because now I am creating their story in my head.

Found the will of one of my Virginia ancestors from 1719. He bequeathed his copper still and worm to stay with the lands that he gives to his wife. The worm is a part of the still. I would like to have seen his brewing operation. I love finding these types of stories, lending such personality.

Another first cousin has passed away. There were 17 grandchildren, and I was the last born. Now there are only five of us left, and the other four are quite a bit older than me. Live each day!

The day ended with a nice surprise: mushroom pasta at Ivy and Ale and peach cobbler with ice cream at the Peach Cobbler Factory!

ZOOM ZOOM! Back on the road again, and I am surprised that the repair bill wasn't bad at all. I am a driver only. I know nothing about cars and go into panic mode when mine doesn't work. I am so grateful for neighbors who helped and the fabulous repairman who handled everything, including my panic.

My car did not start but neighbors helped me and I am now waiting for repairman to tell me the damage. The other neighbor's car won't start either. It is a conspiracy.

Staff meeting was entirely about how the sun slant has changed so dramatically since September. Agreeing that it has only been one day into October, they were amazed that shift seemed be more to the southwest and over the shoulder when facing north. Agreement that it is still hot, but no complaints.

I found this note to myself in the middle of the Phillips Book. What? Moving on.

Greetings to October Friends. Swift strikes of executive decisions are improving the editing. I am making a molehill out of a mountain. Smooth level.

Three dolphins and large contingent of pelicans along north side of Choctawhatchee Bay as we climbed the tall pole to smell perky pink flowers with long reaching vines that whisper we can climb higher and higher into that puffy stretch of clouds hovering over yellowing meadows filled with flowers.

The next place served honey and hibiscus black tea. It was better than that French vanilla. Still grassy tasting. Like you were sitting in a humid field of tall grass and speckled frogs brewed you a cup of tea from murky pond water. Jack said you don't have to drink it. Yeah, I do. It was a gift.

Apple & cinnamon tea in a labyrinth cup transports her into an odd scheme of things. Apart, yet with determined resolve. Cloudy day is fine. We weren't going out there anyway. Drink the peculiar tea (which tastes nothing like apple or cinnamon) and move on. Read the label, it's French vanilla. Hmmm.

Great research find today on my Scottish ancestors, but I had to stop to pick up the grandson from school. The descendants do take priority and require attention. I really wish I could visit Scotland and Ireland.

Grandson said, "Did you know I have to wait three hours at school until lunch time?" Maybe that is the time you need to learn things? Yeah, maybe.

I'm going through.

Grandson visited today and we went to Golden Corral for lunch (his choice). Later as we were playing he started belting out this song: "On the second day of Golden Corral I had two chicken legs and five onion rings." There were more verses, but it got a lot crazier, but he did sing in tune.

Pinkish hazy clouds float over Choctawhatchee Bay while I laugh with Pelican Friends. It was a better day today.

Thank you to the kind man who helped me to my car at Publix. Thank you to the kind neighbor who helped me carry my groceries into the condo. I have good days and bad days. Today I had to ask for help. I don't like to do that. I want to be independent. Today is a struggle.

There were Strategic Bridges. I crossed them. Then they were gone.

Why are the sharks swimming in the sky above the bunting? They like it there. I let the sharks go wherever they want to go. Good plan.

In and around the lake Mountains come out of the sky and they stand there Road trip with Yes songs. Lovely memories, excellent soundtrack for the moment in time. I was so fortunate to see Yes live in 1972.

My staff is so happy this morning with their technical successes in providing information to the Texas cousin. Some old dogs can learn new tricks. The newly formed foundation supporting my work is destined to improve and succeed. What a joy it is to wake up in the morning and be able to think again.

How did you decide which ones were included and which were left behind? It was the feel of level of the moment of the time spent thinking about while alternating staring out the window until a decision was made whether or not it remains open to additional input from those once abandoned. Sort of.

An executive decision goes into effect immediately after this announcement: Digital copies of my books will now be the masters. Staff will no longer maintain the original printed books. No more furiously writing in margins. Plus, all staff will receive substantial pay increases and other treats.

So proud of my grandson as I watched him do his Taekwondo lessons. Great and very patient instructors. Encourage children whenever you can. It is a tough world and they need to prosper and develop in many different ways. Don't forget to praise them for trying to new things, too.

Good meeting with bank manager who gave me Big Bank Apologies for the mix up yesterday. Well, that is a big relief. No meltdown required, no blood spilled.

Meltdown at bank drive through. I waited over 30 minutes while man in front of me was having meltdown. Then clerk said they didn't have an account for me. WTF? I have been banking there for over 30 years. I was too ill to argue. Will go back and have meltdown inside tomorrow with proof documents.

Sister moved back to Kentucky, which provoked thoughts about location and perspective. I have moved from forests, to mountains, to an ocean. Small village, college city, huge city, more small towns (but no pink houses, John), back to forest, to a place on the bay. Light and thought are different.

She pushes and perseveres. She doesn't know how much time is left, well, time for anything. The osprey told her it might not get better as quickly as she wanted. She pushes. Stops. She pushes on.
