Hey Jamaica Plain. Massachusetts is running out of landfill space, and we estimate that Boston throws out about 20 million coffee cups a year. In Jamaica Plain we are starting a BYO campaign to reduce our waste. Look for these stickers at your favorite cafe. HAPPY EARTH MONTH

For Jamaica Plain, MA JPZeroWaste.com is teaming up with Streetcar to collect these beer carriers and get them back to the brewers for reuse. If they can’t reuse them they go to a center that just recycles this type of plastic. So bring yours to Streetcar Wine and Beer on Centre Street.
