Since her campaign recently came to a close, this is my Dwarf Rogue: Riddel, the Lady of House Edinspire. Youngest daughter to a noble lineage of court sorcerers, Riddel did not inherit the magical gifts of her forebears. What she lacks in magical talent she makes up for with a merchant's cunning.

Victorian Gothic Edgepunk Cosmic Horror is a vastly undertapped genre.

TMS's UI is unfairly slept on. The in game menu is made to resemble an album cover and insert pages. Its battle UI resembles the overlay of a broadcast idol show. This UI has such an immaculate vision that more people should experience. Also they should not have rewritten the gravure plot.

Everything that everyone tells me about this game sounds like I'd really vibe with it. My one petty holdup is that i just dont like Nomura's art in it. Nomura has never Nomura'd harder than TWEWY. It's like peak Nomura.

I can't think of any game with a bigger misfortune than having to be the followup act to Final Fantasy 7. Inevitably underneath its shadow, FF8 tries to hit all of FF7's high notes WAY too early and without any of its context or buildup.

I'll always admire LBP for being a game about *making games*. Just a sandbox of mechanics and ideas that you're encouraged to just knock together and see what works.

At this point, Pokemon is a foundational wedge of pop culture. Kids who grew up with Pokemon now have kids with their very own Pokemon, who will have kids of their own and Pokemon will be there for them. That is kind of insane to think about.

I'm normally disinterested in space marine-esque designs, but the fact that these assholes are wearing *capes* gives them so much character, and single-handedly captures the game's theme of blind, ironic bravado.

The cooler, wilder Samurai Warriors that Koei Tecmo doesn't want you to know about. I've only played Sengoku Basara 3, but that game is a legitimately good time.

I've never played any of these games but every single character design I've seen from them looks rad as fuck.

A lesson that even a good game can be sabotaged by bafflingly bad visual design. And a lesson that even a bad game can be lifted to greatness by a dedicated community.

Is it just me or is the timing for Iai Spirit Slash *much* tighter in Wilds? I can't seem to land it for the life of me, and it used to feel somewhat lenient in Iceborne and Rise. Did they change the mechanics for it?
