Sorry to labour the point, but I also suspect that the loudest critics are significantly of a generation who use AI in any capacity, while the rest of us (over 30-40 or children) could not give two fucks about AI and actively reject it.

Some thoughts on last nights DLSS5… unpleasantness. 1) As Rich said himself, there’s no changes to models, textures, assets at all, it is simply a different lighting pass. 2) DLSS was not simply going to stand still, it was always going to reflect the advances made in AI, rightly or wrongly.

Games Complete 2026 #9 Prey Finished it both ways, only to find IT WAS ALL A DREAM I USED TO READ TRANSTAR LIFE MAGAZINE It’s good, but not great. I certainly wouldn’t put it alongside the greats ImSim as its interactions are slight and repetitive. Has the set dressing but none of the soul.

Games Complete 2026 #8 RE: Requiem Merging the two modern flavours of RE was always going to be risky, but that Capcom has been able to do so with such confidence and style really is something to behold, cementing their reputation as the leading light in horror and action games. Tremendous.
