Somehow i’m a forager now

I’m never as excited about making something as when it’s a gift to a friend or acquaintance.

Is it possible to drive around in your own decked out golf cart and not be an ass of some sort? I’m doubtful.

Talking to a young fella who works at my local coffee shop. He’s looking to self-publish and I’m the guy arguing against it. If he listens to me, he’ll save a lot of money. If he does it anyway he’ll learn several things. If he’s somehow successful and says “I told you so!” I’d be very happy.

I was excited with a new idea to make, but then thought about how it might be perceived online. That’s when I knew I needed to make things only for the real world for a while. :)

A hard way to support your family

As a creative person I know I’m expected to be against AI, but at this point that look exactly like this-

Thank you David. I appreciate your perspective. I keep a really close eye on AI and there is no stopping it. There are simply too many people/corporations that want this to happen. At this point it can only regurgitate previous work, so new, or weird ideas are not in its wheel house.

Love this place, but the aisles are so packed and narrow (part of its charm I’ll admit). I’ve never seen anyone look for a book on the lower shelves. I could put unripe fruit down there and then come back for it in three or four days.
