So, #fashionhistory. Thinking about my all-time favorites right now. This jacket is from the 1890s, and is held by Musée Galliera de la Mode de la Ville de Paris. Hot pink. Jet beadwork. That collar! It's timeless and yet somehow modern. The braid-work is called soutache. It's a masterpiece.
