I think when I come back from RPG Limit Break, I'm going to try and tackle some backlog games that have been on my mind in addition to running RE9. Unsurprisingly, a lot of them are horror games. I want to play Look Outside, Sweer Home, Koudelka/Shadowhearts.

Oh yeah I did one of these a few days ago and completely forgot. Tried not to pick any repeats! Hardest one for me was picking something underrated.

There's nothing like stumbling upon an underplayed indie game that turns out to be an absolute banger. I would like to play more before I form a definitive opinion but my early impressions are extremely positive.

I did it! Against all odds (having to restart my stream 3 times to get the game to run) I finished a run. This was a decent first try. It includes 8 or 9 minutes of a section that shouldn't be there so this is more like a 1:46ish

It honestly gave me immense joy that the game that popped off the most in my speedrun backlog was Felvidek. It got me listening to my favorite song from the OST. It's not the most hype song from the OST but it was the one I found the most relatable almost immediately. youtu.be/OxWeVU-Jtes?...

I debated with myself about submitting to SGDQ or not because I'm not positive I'll be able to go but ultimately decided to throw in a couple of runs. I would probably move heaven and Earth to be able to run Parasite Eve if got picked lol

I was able to get the game running again after reinstalling it for the second time but at that point I didn't feel like streaming so I did some offline practice. I'm going to try and pick it up tomorrow. I'm hoping I can do a full run this week but I'm going to have to lock in.

Well I was going to stream today but for some reason RE9 just crashes every time I try to open it? Trying to troubleshoot it but it's looking unlikely that I stream today. It's just very frustrating. It's like world does not want me to run this game.

Tech issues are plaguing my efforts to learn the RE9 run. It'll usually launch with no issues the first time after a clean install but subsequent attempts crash. I spend like 30+ minutes just trying to play the game. It's frustrating. Hopefully I can find a solution.

I have been having these extreme pockets of time where I either feel like everything I'm doing feels good or I feel like I'm never doing enough and I have to work on 10 different things. I have to remind myself sometimes that simply existing is good enough and valuable on its own.

I was really happy to see Hylics on the RPGLB schedule. Work has been tough and I've been dealing with other rejections. I've been pretty down on myself which is why I haven't been streaming much. It'll be nice to have something to put my energy into and try to pull myself out of whatever this is.
