Our PhD student Aneira Williams participated in the first #FunDive Barcoding Campaign in Warsaw. Together with 17 other participants, she extracted DNA from 216 fungal specimens and prepared 192 samples for Nanopore sequencing! Quite an exciting first week of the PhD! @jzpawlowska.bsky.social

Our illustrious leader, Danny Haelewaters PhD was awarded a fellowship grant at the CAS in Prague on 25th October, making it official: our lab is opening on Jan 1st!
