Calvin Murray 1994 Signature Rookies Tetrad - Autographs Hand-numbered and signed. This one is 1472/7750. (The design is terrible, but the numbering is on the column and is barely visible.) 7,750 is a lot of cards to number and sign. But, hey, when you're playing Double-A ball, why not? #cardsky

I figured out which set the top three are from: 1948 Multicolor Background Menko (JRM 19). From left to right are: Juzo Sanada, Takeshi Doigakai, and Noboru Aota. Aota & Sanada are both in the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame.

I also bought this card from the same dealer. Here's their description: "These color Baseball Game Cards were made in the c1960's by the Epoch Co. These rare game cards are Uncatalogued in the Japanese Baseball Card Catalog. Backs of all cards have a color floating head shot of Shigeo Nagashima...

D.J. Boston 1994 Signature Rookies - Top Prospects Signatures Boston never made it to the Majors, but he still appeared on 46 cards between 1991 and 2018 (some as coach). And he hand-numbered and signed 5,250 of these cards while he was playing Single-A ball for the Hagerstown Suns.

Junzo Sekine 1962 Doyusha Menko (JCM 55) Picked up my first card of a bunter from the NPB. It's also my first menko card. It's a beater, but I love it. Sekine played from 1950-65 and is in the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame. #cardsky

A binder page of '71 and '72 bunters from my collection. My pre-1990 cards are sorted by year in binders, but everything after that is a mess of years on each page. I imagine that when I hit 1,000 bunters, I'll use my TCDB list, sorted by year, set, & card #, to get these all in order. #cardsky

My 15 y.o. son, who has a handful of baseball cards from half-his-life ago, told me he's going to start a Mookie Betts base card collection. He had two Betts cards & I kicked in a third. He wants to go with me to a card show soon so that we can dig around in the $.10/.50/1 boxes for bunters & Betts.

I've never loved the '88 Donruss design (I'm into '87 Donruss), but a binder page full 'em is pretty wonderful. And this isn't all the bunters in the '88 set - there are 10 in total. #cardsky

Picked up these 2021 Hot Shot Prospects cards of Sinner and Alcaraz. Do these (presumably unlicensed) cards actually get printed during their copyright year? I ask because Alcaraz started 2021 ranked 141, ended @ 32. Sinner started @ 36 & ended @ 10. They're now, of course, nos. 1 & 2. #cardsky
