Generating material in #Ableton using 3x Samplers loaded with randomized one shots from modular sessions, voice memos, Librivox poems, and plenty of saturation. I let thisk run for a few minutes into a Resample track, then hunt for loops.

Getting into some asymmetric sequencing, using 6 lanes of patterns from the T-1 to sequence the 6 channels of the Nord Drum, each at different step lengths.

Woke up feeling heartbroken for the state of everything. Gave myself a good chunk of time to just sit in the feeling and try to resist thinking about everything that could or should be done. It was hard, but afterwards I could tell it helped to move some energy. Writing 🎶 helped too; #ambientmusic
