Why isn't John McClane in any of the Lethal Weapon movies? How come Agent Smith didn't show up in SWORDFISH?

I will say, I often imagine how much fun SANDBLAST could have been. That late 1990s project. Eddie Murphy vs Jean-Claude Van Damme, kinda like a CLIFFHANGER thing set in the desert? I was so excited when it was first announced, and I'll always be sad it never got made.

Man, I want to like the new releases that make most of you lose your minds, but the truth is, most of the time, I don't give a shit about those movies. It's weird, I feel so disconnected to what most people on here love these days.

As probably the world's biggest fan of the first two movies, I cannot even begin to tell you how excited I am about this news. Now if they could only release the second movie on blu-ray!

Something I loved about SMILE 2 is how they went in a completely different direction by making the lead such an unapologetic piece of shit, and Naomi Scott just goes for it 150%. I found it to be a bit jarring at first, but then the decision to do this grew on me. And now I love it.

Oh, I just found out they're making a SMILE 3. Fuck, yeah. I love these fucking things. And you know me, it's rare for me to get so into horror movies, but these just work for me. Bring it on! Give me five more of these.

For me, all four Lethal Weapon movies. BLACK RAIN. ENEMY OF THE STATE. SPY GAME. INNERSPACE. DEEP BLUE SEA. THE GAME. VANILLA SKY. SNEAKERS. THE NEGOTIATOR. JUDGMENT NIGHT. TRESPASS. GUNMEN. FREEJACK. DIE HARD WITH A VENGEANCE. I've seen all of this over 100 times easily.

I loved FLIGHT RISK. Loved it! It's a small-scale movie, and it wears it on its sleeve. Wahlberg, Dockery, and Grace are phenomenal, but Gibson's deliberate pacing and Antônio Pinto's gloomy score glue it all together into a surprisingly melancholic thriller. My first favorite movie of 2025! 💥

Some of you are so scared to show your own taste in movies, it's actually kind of pathetic. It's weird how some of you so desperately want to fit in that you create the blandest Top 10 of 2025 list.

Honestly, some of your top 10 (or 20) of 2025 are so boring to me. Most of them just scream "I want to fit in and go with the consensus" rather than, you know, showing your personal taste in movies.

Well, echoing Richard, here's my ranking of the Predator movies. For clarification: love the first seven, eight is ok, and nine is meh. But I don't dislike any of them.

Here we go again. PREDATOR: BADLANDS is awesome, yet I see a bunch of people talking about box office numbers rather than about the movie itself--which is what really matters. Fucking brain rot, seriously. You fuckers don't deserve movies, fucking bean counters.

So writing this novel, I'm often feeling like I'm pouring a fever dream onto this pages, and I wonder, will this make sense to anyone else? Will anyone else even care about this? Writing is so weird to me. But I love it.

Listening to this while working out and, not to disparage the wonderful work Sarah Schachner and Benjamin Wallfisch have done during the last three movies, but I do miss Alan Silvestri's tracks. But don't get me wrong, this is really a great score!

Yes, PREDATOR: BADLANDS rules. But still, the best movie in the franchise remains unrivaled.
