A very generous soul offered me a free ticket to a games industry mixer in Manchester (UK) tomorrow night after seeing my last posts... someone remind me how to talk to a room full of strangers confidently and without being weird 🙃

I recently applied for a contract art role at a games company. They thanked me for my application & told me they'd hired someone else. I asked if they had any feedback on my portfolio. They didn't - they really enjoyed my work. This has been my overall experience with game art. Lots of near misses.

I will do some drawings soon. For the first time in... 3 months... sure it'll look really good. Effortless. Janky. Bad. Good.

Went to look at a house the other day. Moving from my current one feels sad but good. It was the house I got after my divorce. It was my house. I got to be and express who I was. It is a magical house.

Maybe I'll use this differently. A stream of consciousness. I don't know. Social media has been bleak for me. Twitter used to be such a fun place. I don't really make that much art anymore. I've been spending time with my family and playing videogames with my friends. And man, it's just been NICE 🙂
