So, the weekend achievement was making my own chāshū. This is a before picture; the after one was abandoned in favour of eating the chāshū.

Christmas was white. And foggy. Quite cold. Dangerous. Cats wouldn’t go out.

I love that the French for pomegranate is “grenade”.

I washed a blanket covered in cat hair. Now I have a blanket covered in clean cat hair.
