At the beginning of the reading Joelle Taylor talked about being in a room that loves you back and said “We know each other and we’ve never met” - that’s what the past weekend at #TheWeeCon felt like.

I'm overwhelmed. This is absolutely ridiculous. This is part one of the #theweecon haul. I did not buy any of this. This is the generosity of everyone exchanging/handing out gifts. You are all truly the best people. If you see yourself, say hello and I've lost track of everyone at this point. 💜

There are still a few little bills to pay and elements to sort out, but I'm very excited to say we have raised a substantial chunk of funding for both of our chosen charities: - Social Bite - a local project that supports and assists the homeless community across Scotland (cont'd...) #theweecon

I held a small introduction into linocutting at #theweecon and the spaces filled up in about half an hour. I loved what people did with it, so many cool designs! We were running late (lesson finally learnt) but at least everyone got to finish and print their artwork and seemed to enjoy the workshop.

We won and continue to win after you created an amazing pirate show that bought us all together for #theweecon in Edinburgh this past weekend. So much love in that room. So love to you and to all of my fellow pirates 🥰🏴‍☠️🦄🏳️‍🌈

And keep having meetups at big comic cons, keep organizing drag shows, keep meeting up at ANY tangentially related event you can think of. Fandom can't die when we have the ability to gather together as a crew and HAVE FUN!!

One of my absolute highlights of #TheWeeCon was meeting the voices in my head in person! I used to read fic every night for hours but with lino& crochet shenanigans eating my brain I can't do that as much anymore.Thank dog for podfics to keep me sane when I'm sick &entertained when I'm arting about.
