Strong climate action is a health opportunity. Cleaner energy, active transport, urban greening, and sustainable food systems can improve air quality, reduce heat exposure, and support healthier communities.

This week, the Lancet Countdown Oceania attended the Climate Investor Forum in Melbourne. Climate change is already harming health, but health is largely absent in climate finance conversations. Human health should be a key driver of climate finance, rather than an afterthought.
