My dad, who passed away a year and a half ago, was a huge soccer/football fan. This is the first World Cup since he passed and it’s weird. I want to talk to someone about stuff that happened today, or the next England match up, and there isn’t really anyone I know. Feeling a bit lost. 🫤

I just spent my weekend with my new obsession, Yona of the Dawn, and binged the whole anime. For me this is a crazy feat. It is SO good and I can’t wait for more and the manga. 🥹😭 Thank you to everyone who recommended it, especially @hananomaude.bsky.social!

In other weird celebratory stuff unrelated to gaming - today is the day that would have been my 25th wedding anniversary, had we not separated. Honestly, I’m so glad it isn’t! I’m out here living my best life and knowing that has actually made it a really good day 😂

So I did something exciting this week that I’m still feeling a bit shell-shocked over but happy about! I have a big birthday coming up that I wasn’t planning on doing anything for, so I decided to mega-treat myself! With money from me and a lot of help from one of my best friends, 1/2

It’s been a weird day emotion-wise here, and in general lately. But tonight I’m feeling introspective. There are so many people on this app I would like to get to know better if I was braver. Curious if it’s the same for others? Are you brave enough to DM or tag them?

So I really wanted a Steam Machine, and with a milestone birthday coming up, was going to get one. However, I’m a lucky person, and my friend is building me a mini-PC which is better at the same price point (plus upgradable). I am LUCKY. There are a lot of disappointed people today. 1/2

UPDATE: It lets you go back for “one more day” and do stuff so I got my perfect shelving done lol. I don’t do reviews but I will say that this game was wonderful with one exception: I wish it had accessibility options. The text was very small on my Steamdeck and hard on my eyes.

I finished Librarian:Tidy the Arcane Library very late last night, and then learned that out of 400 shelves 3 were filled but probably had books out of order 😫 Will this haunt me forever, or can I just move on?? Still definitely a great game for me 😂

It’s kind of funny, after posting what I did yesterday I found myself stressing later because I shared an opinion. Like what if people judge me or don’t like me for it? I need to relax and learn it’s okay to be authentic even if that means not everyone will agree with me!
