A new study has found that only 1 in 7 images of blood pressure [BP] checks in popular online photo libraries show the procedure correctly, according to international guidelines. With more people measuring their own BP at home, inaccurate visuals could mislead and have serious health consequences.

Our Nutrition team took India’s voices to the global stage at 23rd IUNS International Congress of Nutrition in Paris. The World Health Organization now recommends replacing regular table salt with potassium enriched salt to reduce blood pressure and cardiovascular risk. However, people with chronic kidney disease [CKD] are excluded from the recommendation due to concerns about hyperkalaemia. [1/2]
