There is a federal principle that states should not be able to undermine federal policy using targeted criminal prosecutions, a doctrine known as Supremacy Clause Immunity. Because of the Supremacy Clause, federal power is over state laws and constitutions. This is an extension of that.

The 1st Amendment has 5 rights within it. One of those is Freedom of Assembly. Which prohibits government interference in free association among people.

Government can change our lives in many ways! In 1752 the government of the British Empire along with the American Colonies told everyone to skip Sept 3 to Sept 13. And people today complain about daylight savings time!

Voting is important, there are more ways to have your voice heard. 1. Take action! Attend protests, donate time to a cause, or talk to your friends about important issues. 2. Join a political party in your county 3. Find an organization that agrees with your views But always vote!

Important to remember that the vast majority of Americans don't know what democracy means, or fascism. Using these terms and the words provoke reaction. Some might deny an affiliation, even though they agree with the meanings. We must build civic literacy so we can begin discussions.
