Ugh my US bank account isn’t doing so hot because I didn’t realise my pay was monthly and not biweekly 😞 Sucks that I’ve racked up nearly $150 USD in just overdraft charges on top of bills. Banks suck ass. At least it highlights which auto-payments I need to cancel I guess.

Yaaaay some stress melted away, I’m finally on the mend and it turns out I don’t need a GP note unless I go over 7 days. 😭 thank god, and I’m in the process of getting a GP anyways I can relax the entire week now, no stress. Just healing. Thank goodness.

Well, I’m off all week now ♥️ I’ll have to see a doctor for a note but I’m glad I can now relax and know I can just rest and recover all week. If I’m better by Thursday/Friday, my wife took those days off to do something for my birthday 🥹

Still out sick.. And I checked my schedule, I’ve got a 8 day work week coming up. Not sure if that’s a mistake or not.. but I’ll be working 8 days straight during my birthday. I could cry but I’m just numb. What did I do to deserve this..?

Well, I have COVID. 🎉🫠 my wife tested negative so far but she feels weird too :/ ugh. I’m pissed because it’s literally the hospitals fault. I’ve been around COVID patients without proper signage declaring that and the need for PPE for a whole week.

I’m definitely sick, Covid tests ordered, called in tomorrow I’ve stopped sweating which is not good but a blessing in disguise. I’m plenty hydrated but I’m weak and dizzy. I only have an hour and a half left of work and it’s self care time.

Ugh.. I hope I’m not getting sick. Earlier today I cleaned a room that wasn’t properly marked with a sign that the patient had COVID and huh was directly exposed. Now my throat is really sore, but I doubt it’s from that exposure due to it happening earlier today?

I’m really trying, but I dunno if this job is for me. I don’t know how I can feel any joy from it. However, I get paid decently and have good benefits… 😞 I shouldn’t throw that away so soon. I’ve never given up on a job unless I’ve worked there for a year. I’m gonna keep trying.

Oof, I’m tired. My schedule kinda sucks next week too :( I work on the weekend before my birthday, I’m assuming it’s because they may give me my birthday off but still. I’d rather have the weekend than a Tuesday where we can’t really do anything but stay home :(

So apparently I’ve been doing the entire schedule for cleaning at work when in reality I’m only supposed to do certain things and half of the list is only if I have time for it. Well shit 🥲 that makes me feel better I guess lol

I know I’m new and balancing doing everything is gonna be really hard for me, but holy heck. I dunno how people here do everything they do in a day and leave on time (for the most part) and look totally composed while doing it But one thing is better… PAIN! My feet are doing much better today.

My three day weekend went by too fast 😭 UGHHHHH I’ve got anxiety and feeling bleh about work. It’ll get better I know, but damn. I had a taste of what it could be like being a full time artist and now I cannot do that. Instead I’ve gotta out myself through pain and barely have time for myself now.

Today was… I knew something was off as soon as I woke up. I was alone for the first time on a ward but I didn’t have a badge yet so I literally couldn’t access anything without bugging nurses trying to do their jobs. I forgot some things here and there and it made my day so much harder.

Well, I lied to my manager yesterday that I was gonna get proper shoes which was why I left early, but I literally couldn’t stand or walk after getting home. I’ll have to get them this weekend, but I feel bad for lying. I have shoes that are new so it will look like I did what I said-

Today was a good day and a bad day 🥲 I had a trainer at work who actually explained some things SUPER well and now I can go into work with a bit more confidence. But, I was really sad to cut my day short at work because the pain I’m in is too much. I’m sorry for complaining so much about it here

After my wife had to assist me getting out of the shower and get dressed because of horrible foot pain, she will be assisting me with finally getting a GP and see a proper doctor about these issues This pain is definitely not normal 😞 I hope I can keep this job.

One of the worst feelings in the world is waking up briefly to move back to cuddling your partner and then your work alarm going off 5 seconds after getting comfy 😞 I need to go to bed earlier.. I’m so tired..

I dunno if I can do this job.. 🥺😞 I’m too socially awkward to work with patients that are hard of hearing (having to repeat myself), I can hardly understand them, or they have dementia and I don’t know how to handle that. It seems like too much for me, I just wanna clean in my own world. 😞

Going from a late shift to comforting my wife from with sickness until 1am and getting up at 6am for the early shift is… brutal 😵‍💫

Today actually hasn turned out too bad My feet hurt pretty bad but the new inserts have cut the pain down about a 1/4 which is huge for me I guess it’s a matter of getting used to them now

Wifey comes home tonight 🥺 I missed her so much. Idk how I’m gonna survive when she’s gone for a month in November..

I will say, I did feel little this weekend and that was amazing. Last night, I was in my snorlax onesie and working on lineart until my iPad died and then I sank some time in that new harvest moon remake. Which I LOVE so far!! What a great remake of a game I used to play so much when I was young.

I think I made a sad discovery for myself, I’m not sure if I like pamps irl 😵‍💫 they are kinda a sensory nightmare for me. I like them a lot in theory but the times I’ve tried to get back into them has been off Oh well, I’m more than happy to draw them though ♥️
