We're back at the bargaining table today. We’ve made some progress so far, but have plenty of work left to do. Just six weeks left until our contract expires. All we want this holiday season is a fair contract!

For Decoder Ring, I look into "Pink Lady & Jeff," the infamous 1980 NBC variety show flop, dubbed one of the "worst shows in TV history." But it turns out that old narrative is too simplistic, too US-centric, and omits the voices of the Japanese stars of the show—the sensational pop duo Pink Lady.
