HUNK just grumbled a bit. "Why did you call? Just burdening me with the knowledge you're still alive or do you have a job for me?"

"Which is why anyone with experience here should be kept up to speed. If it was up to me, all able bodied researchers would be put through live fire." That sounded bad. Live rounds with a real possibility of death. What he meant was worse "But brass says only the basics. Do you have your sidearm?"

He shrugged. Fair enough. He was just wanting to match her energy.
