gotta say, i love any game that allows me to functionally (enough) build a character sheet in my notes app

So, I came across someone who was using AI to try and supplement TTRPG stuff (or possibly a whole TTRPG?). Pictures, writing, the whole kit and kaboodle. And uh...yeah nah, I'd say that the act of using AI to help create something automatically makes you an inferior artist.

powergaming can be unfun & its entirely fair if it ruins your experience but there are 2 reasons it doesnt for me (anymore) 1) my decks are designed to prioritize my enjoyment before winning 2) someone pushing a game to it's limits (especially when it clearly drew them to the game) is fun to watch

Cool people don't use AI when making or running a TTRPG. Don't be like these people. You're cooler and more talented and skilled then they are.

Every time I say that D&D is not a game that's easy to learn, I get pushback from people who've only tried D&D, Pathfinder, and Shadowrun. It's solidly medium crunch. There are much better games to use as an intro and I think, if D&D weren't the gateway to the hobby, we'd have more people.
