For the new #Amiberry GUI, I needed a lightweight, efficient and flexible library that would be easily portable. Dear Imgui worked perfectly for this! I added a theme that resembles that AmigaOS retro feeling and colors. And even a Dark theme option is there! @ocornut.bsky.social

Almost done with the changes for the upcoming #Amiberry v8 release. I'm considering also merging the upgrade to SDL3 in there, so far I haven't noticed any regressions with it. Meanwhile, how about some SIMD optimizations to sweeten the deal? :)

The upcoming #Amiberry v8 release is getting closer and closer... Additionally, JIT for ARM64 has been updated to support 64-bit addressing, among other things. This makes it possible to have macOS and Android support, for the first time.

After 5 days if intense debugging, it looks like I may have finally gotten JIT for ARM64 to work on the latest #Amiberry codebase! At least, my tests all pass without a crash :) This next release will be epic! PS: next goal: make it work on macOS also
