No, literally! I’m so grateful that I found a lil store in my neighborhood that sells a variety of fresh & ready to eat prepped meals. I add a little salad in a bag or a simple side dish & call it the day. It has made my life so much easier.

Whatever your soul & spirit decides to do. The afterlife has its own thing going on. Either way Death is a beautiful & consistent companion on this journey we call life. I suggest we all build a healthy relationship with Death.

Just like love, joy, happiness, etc… Suffering is just a part of the human experience spectrum.

Life is an experience filled with many different experiences waiting to be experienced. It is believed earth is a “marketplace” & your soul is moving through this marketplace learning, selling, bartering, collecting, dancing, flirting, etc. with life.

Love my peoples down. But let’s be honest here, the Black community is mostly conservative. We see it mainly in the way we view & talk about marriage, family dynamics, gender roles, sexual orientation, religion, immigration, etc.

Even though these adults did all this ignorant nonsense and I’m pretty sure this has traumatized her in different ways. I’m glad baby girl stood on business & still said what she said unapologetically. She reminds me of me when I was her age. May her fierceness aid in her healing & resilience.

My unpopular opinion is that I believe the vast majority of people are “neurodivergent” & it’s really just people realizing that these capitalist & patriarchal systems aren’t sustainable or realistic for anyone.

Depending on the year, I’ll either host with another friend or host by myself. Either way it’s always with a handful of homies at the crib, potluck style dinner, crafts & games. Sometimes I decorate, sometimes I don’t. This year I’m incorporating & leading a cocktail making workshop for them. 🤗
