Just watched the movie Parents on #svengoolie, hosted by the #svensquad. I miss the days of going to Thomas Video after a night shift and renting those dark, head-trip movies from the 80's and 90's. So glad to watch this again. Now I know why red wine pairs so well with red meat.

Our neighborhood has seen an influx of stray cats. A new litter adopted a neighbor's porch. Then the mama cat got knocked up again before we could trap her for TNR. The neighbor successfully trapped mama last night but she didn't make it through the surgery. It's always sad, even if a stray.

Watching USA vs Canada in the world baseball classic quarter finals. I think Canada needs to go back to Little League Baseball 101. They've had 3 errors at first with no one covering the base, and it's only the 6th inning. First rule of baseball...cover first base! Baseball is the best.

A favorite pic of my mom, on her 80th bday, 12 years ago! And then I realized that she has been gone 7 years. It still feels like 2 or 3. Last month marked 30 years that my dad has been gone, which is now longer than he was in my life. I'm baffled at how time works in relation with our memories.
