Wow, hearing Ted Danson on @colbertlateshow.bsky.social talk about how he got his sense of activism from his dad, an archaeologist (Southwestern, I think?) who instilled in him a sense of the need to care for future generations, has got me in the feels.

I had the most marvellous day recently looking through the St. Pancras #Roman cemetery archive, looking for more so-called infant feeding vessels. Huge thanks to the 🏛Novium Museum, Chichester & to @romanpalace.bsky.social for allowing me access. So many lovely Roman pots!!!

All current members of European Association Archaeologists (EAA) the per rollam ballot has been emailed out & includes vote to review Statues & mechanism for vote of no confidence. Exec Board will call special meeting to approve these. 📣 Needs 5% of members to respond! 🏺

America, PBS has just confirmed that the brand new episode of ‘Pompeii: The New Dig’ documentary that lovingly follows the current excavations of a large and sumptuous house in Region IX will air on Sunday 8th June 2025.
