Everyone loves to complain about the prevalence of IP in Hollywood but when anyone takes a big swing, it falters. IS GOD IS rules so much, one of the boldest debut films I’ve seen in years. It’s violent, funny and wholly entertaining. It deserves to be a hit and barely anyone saw it. Go see it asap.

This afternoon I'm going to check out The Devils from Ken Russel. I've never seen this film but have had the DVD in my collection for a few years. This year one of my 'projects' is to get around to watching some of the big films that I've never seen. Have you seen The Devils?

My afternoons viewing. I'll rewatch the film this weekend but for now I'm watching the 35minutes worth of featurettes that are on the bluray.

I enjoyed Apex. Charlize Theron was great, Taron Edgerton was wonderfully freaky!!! Basic plot but that's all that was needed in this cat n mouse thriller. Stunning scenery. Lots filmed in the Blue Mountains area of New South Wales.
