Second time attempting sourdough in a stainless steel dutch oven, starting with a cold oven. Took it out of the pot at 70 min mark and finished it on the baking stone. Good colour and crust, and it's bread. But it's still not sourdough texture. Will try getting my starter more active next time.

David Lynch was a genius. He was great in front of and behind the camera. His bit in "The Fablemans" was my favorite thing in that movie.

Made a lampshade for this elephant lamp my aunt brought back from India in the 60's. Frame is rosewood. Insets were inkjet printed on charcoal paper, sprayed with fixative, coated in mod podge, then tacked in place with hot glue.

Really enjoyed the audio book version of the Book of the Ancestor series by @marklawrenceauthor.bsky.social . The reading by Heather O'Neill brought such life to the characters.

"The Relentless Legion" by @jsdewes.com is a very lovely ending to a great series.

Finished up work on my pattern maker/guitar repair vise. Used a mix of maple, cherry, and oak remnants plus a few 3D printed bits. It's a little sloppy but becomes quite solid when things are clamped down.
