The CJBS calls for applications for the Buddhist Education Foundation of Canada Conference Grants, which will award PhD students (in Canada) or recent graduates (of Canadian institutions) in the field of Buddhist Studies up to $500 CAD for participation in online or in-person conferences.

The CJBS welcomes submissions for the second annual Buddhist Education Foundation of Canada Annual Article Award. This award will offer $1000 CAD to up to two articles written by graduate students or early career scholars deemed as excellent, with priority given to those with connections to Canada.

Looking forward to this, not least because I translated this Sūtra for the 84000: Translating the Words of the Buddha project alongside Jed Forman and Baatra Erdene Ochir!
