Happy Pride Month, babes!

this is the first weekend in ages where i have absolutely nothing to do for two days in a row and i have no idea what to do with myself 🧍

listened thru the album Portal by Balu Brigada for the first time on sunday and it’s been on repeat every day since. scratches such a musical itch in my brain. haven’t had an album seize me like this in a hot second. i love music so much. one of my fav art formats.

been staring at numbers and spreadsheets so long i want to scoop my eyeballs out.

i don’t want to stare at eye-crossing data and spreadsheets for eight hours today, i want to WRITE. 😭😭 free me 💔🥀

haunted by yesterdays dnd game. get me back in i need to play more AAAH

today in dnd one character described my cleric as a "mama bear" and the other character stated "she may kill us all" and i think that duality sums her up really really well 💜

work this week was so shit that i let all my chores pile up and now that it’s my day off i wanna lay around and relax and not catch up on the chores i desperately need to do. send help.

just emerged from a 22 hour migraine ✨😚✌️ that was the worst!!!

okay i guess a few hours rolling dice with friends is a really good way to break out of a depressive rut (i did chores, made dinner, and wrote 1300 words)

hmm… so being depressed and self-isolating makes the mean little voice inside my head louder and the anxiety worse… interesting……..

tomodachi life came out and i haven’t had the brainspace to do literally anything else. or even had the want to do anything else with my spare time. the hold this game has on me is actually ridiculous. it’s so absurd and such a good and fun game lmao.

oh i just looove waking up at 2am on a work night and not being able to get back to sleep for the second time in a week 🥰 loveee it love it soooo much 🙃

i made all my dnd characters in tomodachi life last night and it was the best decision ever. it’s the funniest shit ever watching them interact and have it be canonically accurate to who they are LMAO

played enough tomodachi life yesterday that i woke up in the middle of the night multiple times to the music stuck in my head 😌

wrote something very chill and cool today (i had a fun time even though it was terribly sad)

took a tylenol, took a nap, ate some actual food, took a shower, did skincare. no more low grade fever. feel about 25% better than i did five hours ago. hoping this is the upswing and the worst of this shit is over. PHEW.

yes i was sick like six weeks ago and im sick again but this time i have a low grade fever and i genuinely have not had a fever since i was young and lived at home and hey! dont recommend it!!! i feel terrible!!!

gosh but i love doing fun little crafty things with paper and stickers and just making tangible things with my hands to give to people. it’s so fun and satisfying.

How do I stop doing the thing where I stop watching or playing a thing right near the end because I don't want it to be over and have none left 😔

this morning one of the baristas at my local coffee stand called me “big dog lore” and then bowed to me, so that was a fun way to start my sunday LMAO

had a morning hanging out with a pal, spent an hour or two lingering through a bookstore, both of us spent $80, and we walked in sunny 60 degree weather. life may be worth it!!!!!

i actually am doing quite a few things in the next few weeks which is very different than the life i’ve been living the last couple years and to be honest i’m very excited to mix things up and travel a bit and hug my friends (and maybe my sister!!) and get a tattoo and actually Do Something fun!!

anyways, i’ve had the (dis)pleasure of experiencing sleep paralysis multiple times recently and i hate it so much

midnight migraine was so bad i ended up fully sleeping on the couch for a few hours and had some weird freaky awful dreams !!! woke up still in pain!!! yay!!!

genuinely there is nothing i love more than playing the dnd i get to play. i wake up the day after games and immediately think of nothing else. i mourn the fact that i can’t do this all day every day. anyways next weekend is two years since we established this group and im more grateful than ever ❤️

i got to play my little haunted freak yesterday and i’m proud to say they’re just as freaky and haunted as always. need to play him again asap 😭
