1st day on the new job 🤓 so it's training day, turned out I'll have training for 8 days 😵‍💫 but so far so good! The atmosphere is nice, the company (though big) really welcoming, but in canteen -> NO #vegan options, not even one! 🤯 There's literally 1 vegetarian & that's it 🥺 Homemade lunches for me 🥗

This week's menu 😉 Now I need to plan the week ahead 🤔 Will have good look through the fridge, cupboards & check what I can do with that. Besides batch cooking & planning🌱 I'm also trying hard to save as much money💰 as possible - is the food going more expensive by the week only in Ireland?!😳 #vegan

So 5th September is the day, that our central heating goes on for a bit, 1st time this season. It's not too bad outside with ~11°C, but cos of constant rain🌧️ & wind🍃 it simply feels cold & damp inside the house. It's still not too early for the heating, there were years that it was on in August...🤦🏻

Half of our garden fence is one long blackberry bush 🤗 it's finally time to pick some & turn into crumble (+ some apples 🍎😁). One year there were sooo many that I made 10 jars of marmalade! This year I won't be making any, we'll eat them as they come in crumbles, porridge, pancakes etc 😋 #vegan
